The Linn County Nonprofit Resource Center (LCNRC) is a training and resource center for nonprofits. Our mission is to build vibrant communities by promoting, supporting, and strengthening the nonprofits of Linn County. We do this through workshops, peer groups, advocacy, and engagement with nonprofit board members. We are also a "clearinghouse" of information where nonprofits can be directed to best practices in finance, board development, fundraising, et.al., as well as to consultants or other resources.
This website will provide you with
1. information on nonprofit training events;
2. some websites of interest;
3. other resources of value.
Beginning in December, this website will feature 2 local nonprofit organizations, one social service and one arts/culture/environment, as "Nonprofit of the Month". With an exception to this first month, because a particular organization's request helped us create this new section, organizations will be selected randomly from those in our database.
